Guided tour of UNESCO World Heritage Hoi An Ancient Town, UNESCO World Heritage My Son Sanctuary & Cham Islands Homestay package 5 days 4 nights
Day 1: Danang arrival & hotel in Hoi An
AM: Airport/ Train station pick up in
PM: Guided tour of UNESCO World Heritage Hoi An Ancient Town, visit museum & market. Two nights hotel accommodation in Hoi An (3, 4 or 5 star according to daily rate).
Day 2: My Son Sanctuary & My Son Lake Kayaking
- 8 AM arrival in My Son. Our vehicle takes us to within 100 m of the temples & towers. Walk to see & feel one or two groups of ancient temples & tower ruins set in the valley amongst hills and streams. Today My Son has traces of 68 Champa temple and tower structures of which about 20 survive.
- 9.45 to 10 AM watch traditional Champa music & dance show (everyday except Monday).
- 10.30 AM start kayaking on the still, quiet, unused & unpolluted 5 km of My Son lake. - 11.30 AM Lunch is taken when hungry as a picnic on a tiny remote island. Vegetarian food provided by Karma Waters. After lunch take a nap or paddle around. (Swimming is not recommended as this is a holy lake). - 1.30 pm kayaking on the lake ends. Return to Hoi An by car or van & visit the old political Capital of the Champa Kingdom Tra Kieu & see from the ancient Champa hilltop (now a Catholic Church) the layout of the land & geomancy of the ancient C - 3 PM Return to Hoi An for hotel drop-off. Free time.
Day 3: Cham Islands Homestay in Bai Huong village
- 8 AM depart from Karma Waters, Cua Dai to
- 9:30 AM arrive in Bai Huong, meet your Homestay family, take a guided village walk & visit local temple
- 12 AM lunch with family & rest
- 2 PM snorkelling trip by boat
- 30 minutes volunteering (teaching English to household, beach cleanup, etc.)
- 6 PM dinner with family. Free time
Day 4: Hike to Bai Chuong beach & Bai Lang village, Cham Islands
- 7 AM breakfast
- 8 AM hike to Bai Chong beach to relax & swim
- 12 AM lunch at Bai Chong
- 2 PM hike to Bai Lang, visit ancient Champa temple Hai Tang & local tour guide will take you around Bai Lang
- 5 PM return to Bai Huong village by boat
- 30 minutes volunteer work (teaching English to household, beach cleanup, etc.)
- 6 PM dinner with family. Free time
Day 5: Sightseeing by boat & return to Hoi An
- 7 AM breakfast
- 8 AM circumnavigating on a boat Hon Lao island (the largest
- 12 AM lunch on boat
- 2 PM departure from Bai Huong to Karma Waters, Hoi An
- 4 PM arrival at Karma Waters, Hoi An. Our tour ends
