Central Vietnam UNESCO Sites culture & heritage in Hue, Hoi An & My Son for 4 days
Introduction
Our packaged "UNESCO Culture Tour Central Vietnam" includes unique culture & heritage highlights of three UNESCO sites in Central Vietnam (Hue, Hoi An & My Son) and packages them into 6 full days of 1 arrival day, 4 tour days, 1 departure day.
Central Vietnam is home to four UNESCO sites Hue, My Son, Cu Lao Cham (Biosphere Reserve) and Hoi An. The old Capital of Vietnam is Hue with a long history of real & authentic Vietnamese cultural & heritage. The Ancient Cham Kingdom Hoi An (Hindu) with political capital in Tra Kieu, temples in My Son and commercial port of Hoi An was for centuries a major regional port and the first large Chinatown in Vietnam.
Customization is available including visiting specific sites.
One day UNESCO site tours are also available in Hue, Hoi An and My Son.
Itinerary & Rates
Day 1: Hue Culture Tour. Full day 9 am – 4 pm.
Itinerary:
- 9 am pickup by private car at Guest’s hotel
- Thien An Monestary
- Tu Duc Tomb
- Nam Giao Pagoda
- Vegetarian lunch 12 am at Nam Giao Pagoda & rest
- Thien Mu Pagoda by boat
- Phuoc Tich traditional village
- 4 pm dropoff by private car at Guest’s hotel
- Itinerary can be shortened on the day to Guest’s wishes
Day 2: Travel by private car from Hue to Hoi An via Hai Van Pass & Danang (or the opposite direction). Full day 9 am – 4 pm.
Itinerary:
- 9 am pickup from Guest’s hotel
- Journey with KW Guide
- Travel by private car over Hai Van Pass & stop at the peak (arrival 11 am). Tour of war fortifications
- Vegetarian lunch in Danang 12 noon
- After lunch 1 pm Guided tour of Danang’s Cham Museum (1-2 hours depends on Guest’s wishes)
- Guest’s checkin to Guets’s hotel in Hoi An 4 pm
- Itinerary can be shortened on the day to Guests wishes
Day 3: Hoi An Culture Tour. Full day 9 am – 4 pm.
Itinerary:
- 9 am pickup at Guest’s hotel by private car
- UNESCO WHS Hoi An Ancient Town tour
- Lunch at “Karma Waters” vegetarian restaurant Hoi An Ancient Town 12 am & rest
- Bicycle tour of Hoi An with tour of Tra Que organic vegetable village
- Bicycle ride to Guest’s hotel end of tour 4 pm
- Itinerary can be shortened on the day to Guests wishes
Day 4: My Son Culture Tour. Full day 7 am – 3 pm. Best is early start 7 am (or earlier if Guests agree) because My Son is best toured early in the morning!
Itinerary:
- 7 am pickup at Guest’s hotel by private car
- UNESCO WHS My Son Sanctuary 8 am
- Traditional Cham dance show at My Son Sanctuary 9.45 am -10 am
- Lakeside My Son village Pagoda tour
- Lunch at My Son lakeside at 11.30 am (or when hungry) & rest; packed vegetarian lunch & snacks provided by “Karma Waters” restaurant
- Tra Kieu Son Huynh Museum
- Tra Kieu Mound
- Bang An Tower
- Return by private car to Guest’s hotel 3 pm
- Itinerary can be shortened on the day to Guests wishes
Group discounts are provided. Infants free & children under 12 years old half price (50%).
Our rate includes Guide, meals, all transportation, site tickets. We follow the Itinerary (see above).
