In our reality what we "produce" is people (customers, employees, owners, community, etc.). Our "products" (tours, homestay, food, boats, etc.) are a necessary by-product & reflection of who we are - and they are only one of many methods to prove & improve ourselves as "humane beings"
Vision
We are seeking to leave this world in a better condition than when we first came here - the fundamentals of "sustainable development."
We are exploring ourselves, creating & sharing our vegan "lifestyle" within this social community & environment as responsible people developing a "sustainable business" (see sister company "Tara way" & our personal development & management training programs "Karma Investment" ).
We are participating as best we can by trying to live in the moment.
The Owners as a vegan family are seeking to grow & nuture; we do not kill & eat. This fundamental "nurturing" principle underlines our personal approach to life - and business is just a small part of life. We are "investing" in our personal & collective karma.

Karma Waters Products & Services
To achieve our Vision:
- We are responsible for our actions
- Substantial benefit goes to local community

- We are using an open management system coupled with participation processes involving all employees
- By Vietnamese standards all Karma Waters & Tara employees are well rewarded for participation including being well paid with bonuses based on overall performance & sharing of tips (no percentage of tips goes to the business or Owners)
- We actively participate in the community in "sustainable development" by focusing on participatory processes in developing people & the environment
- We use "hardware" (boats, equipment, etc.) as tools for upgrading "software" through self-exploration
- We provide customized tours to small groups of 2 - 8 customers
- We are exploring & rediscovering the ancient lost Champa Kingdom around Hoi An comprised of hundreds of kilometers of waterways & more than 2,000 years of culture and trade
- As a healthy vegan vegetarian restaurant in Hoi An we feed the local community & tourists. A customer with only 10,000 VND (US$0.50) can eat a full healthy meal - if the customer wants to pay more we have more expensive food & beverages from the Menu
- We do not profit from pain
- We are what we eat! the best solution for global warming is a vegan diet - we promote & provide vegan diet
- We do not run a charity - we operate a business - AND we make direct charitable donations
